World Environment Day is celebrated on 5 June every year. That day is also Hong Kong Green Day. D&G Technology has been one of the sponsors for six consecutive years. Though there was no onsite kick-off ceremony of Hong Kong Green Day this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic, D&G Technology still fully supported this event. The Company has participated in the Green Pledge of Hong Kong Green Day 2021 and is committed to shaping a green office environment and spreading green messages to the community, including:
- Saving energy
- Conserving water
- Enhancing efficiency of resource use and implementing reuse and recycling
- Encouraging our staff members to live green
- Spreading the green messages to other organizations and the community to promote sustainable development in Hong Kong
Besides, the Company encouraged all employees to participate at “Wear Green Action” on 5 June to show their support. Internal propaganda was also carried out in the production facility in Langfang Hebei, including posters and exhibit boards. Employees were urged to sign for a pledge to take daily actions to deal with environmental protection.
