D&G Technology participated in the Joint Business Mission to Xinjiang organized by the Belt and Road Office

In late May 2024, Mr. Liu Jinzhi, Executive Director and General Manager of Sales & Marketing of D&G Technology Holding Company Limited, participated in the joint business mission organized by the "Belt and Road Office" under the Hong Kong Commerce and Economic Development Bureau to visit Xinjiang. The delegation was co-led by the Commissioner for Belt and Road of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, Mr Nicholas Ho, and the Director-General of the Department of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr Fan Shijie, visiting Hungary and Kazakhstan from May 16 to 22. The delegates returned via Xinjiang to visit local enterprises participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Ms. Glendy Choi, CEO of D&G Technology Holding Company Limited, was awarded the GBA Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Awards 2023, which was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association and Metro Finance, for her outstanding career achievements and contributions to the development of the Greater Bay Area. The awards ceremony was held on 17 November 2023 at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, in recognition of the contributions and achievements of female business elites to the industry and the development of the Greater Bay Area. Ms. Choi has a reputation for excellence in the field of road construction, and her expertise and leadership have made her a leader in the industry, widely respected and recognized by her peers and experts. Under her leadership, D&G Technology actively supports the development vision of the Greater Bay Area, creates a mutually beneficial business model, and jointly promotes the road infrastructure construction in the Greater Bay Area with customers, and makes joint contributions. Winning the GBA Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Award is a well-deserved recognition of Ms. Choi’s outstanding achievements and contributions.

D&G Technology was delighted to be awarded the “5 Years Plus Caring Company”by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in February 2023, in recognition of its efforts in performing corporate social responsibilities and continuous work and measures to care for the community, employees and environment. The Company has been nominated for the “Caring Company” Scheme for seven consecutive years. In the future, the Company will continue to create a culture of innovation, care for the community and the environment, promote the active participation of employees, and continue to promote the concept of sustainable development of the Company.

On February 22, 2023, D&G Technology was awarded the ESG Award at the 4th InnoESG Prize Presentation and ESG Forum cum ESG Expo 2023, commending the company's performance in sustainable development/environmental, social and governance aspects.

The InnoESG Prize is organized by SocietyNext Foundation and supported by various associations and organizations. It aims to encourage companies to reform their core businesses in innovative ways by adapting or incorporating into the sustainable development/environmental, social and governance categories. This award evaluates the performance of the nominated company in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of sustainability/environmental, social and governance measures.

D&G Technology has been committed to achieving a sustainable society for many years. Through corporate social responsibility projects and a series of environmental protection measures, it has joined hands with stakeholders to contribute to a sustainable future and was recognized by the judges.

Industry Cares recognition scheme is a corporate social responsibility recognition scheme organized by Federation of Hong Kong Industries. The scheme is to praise those enterprises which had outstanding performance in Corporate Social Responsibility over the past year. D&G Technology attaches importance to corporate social responsibility and does not forget to fulfill the corporate social responsibility during its business development. We try to support and participate in different types of community obligations or environmental activities, and focus on its direction of sustainable development. It was awarded the Caring Certificate of Industries Cares 2022 in recognition of the company’s outstanding contribution to the community. The Company has obtained this certificate of recognition for sixth consecutive years. In the future, D&G Technology will continue its devotion to creating a sustainable society through implementing environmental protection practices in multiple aspects and continuous participation in social activities.

D&G Technology won the Gold Award under the Special ESG Awards - Outstanding ESG Performer of the Year (Listed Company) category of the ESG Achievements Awards 2021/2022. Organised by the Institute of ESG & Benchmark, the ESG Achievements Awards is also sponsored by Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited and supported by InvestHK, CFA Society Hong Kong, The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies, and many other financial and industry institutions.

The results of ESG Achievement Awards 2021/2022 (Awards) were announced and presented at the awards ceremony on 30 Aug 2022 at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong. The ceremony kicked off with an opening speech by the Guest of Honor, Mr Joseph Chan Ho-lim, JP, Under Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury.

The five key criteria that the jurors considered included our Group’s sustainability strategy, corporate governance, social and environmental impact and practices, and overall disclosure and communication. The Outstanding ESG Performer of the Year award recognizes D&G Technology’s dedicated work and outstanding performance in Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) practices and initiatives, which are part of the Company’s core values for long-term development.
